Library Borrowing
Each week, classes visit the Library for a half-hour session with their Class Teacher. During this time, students can browse the collection, research information, borrow books, read quietly by themselves or with friends or enjoy a story read aloud. In addition, the Library is open to students for borrowing during the following times:
Monday - Friday
Before school: 8.30 - 8.50am
First Break: 11.15 – 11.40am
Second Break: 1.15 - 1.40pm
Students are encouraged to have a waterproof library bag to borrow from the Library. These are available from the Uniform Shop. A waterproof bag ensures that our books remain clean and dry. We encourage students to always place their books in their Library bags when they are not reading them. At home, a special place to hang Library bags (e.g. bedroom doorknob) ensures families are not frantically searching for books on the morning they are due back to the Library.
